Christina and Brent are planning a November wedding in Fort Wayne, but we had a beautiful June evening for their engagement photos. Here are a few of my favorites:
I was honored when Richard and Daniel asked me to photograph their commitment ceremony at Fort Wayne’s Historic Embassy Theater. Flowers by Kari at Lillian Rose, furnishings and decorations by A Party Apart, programs, place cards, etc., by The Monogram Shoppe, music by ProDJNow.com, dinner by the Oyster Bar.

The beautiful weather continued through Sunday for Rachel and Richard’s Lakeside Rose Garden wedding in Fort Wayne. More great music as well — Richard and his fraternity brothers performed an a capella serenade that brought the bride (and others) to tears. The reception location is Ceruti’s Diamond Room, with music by R-n-B Sound.

Saturday could not have been a better day for a golf course wedding! Lindsey and Chad were married at Birch Valley Golf Course in Sears, MI, with a reception following at the Cadillac Grill in nearby Cadillac. Lots of friends and family at this one (the guitar player is my brother-in-law Rex Raymond — check out Open Range if you like acoustic music and spectacular harmony vocals).

The weather could not have been better for Jennifer and Brian’s wedding at Fox Island Nature Center. It was a special surprise to see our friends Kenny Taylor and Patrick Borton (”Deuce” — you can see them every Tueday night at the Latch String Bar and Grill in Fort Wayne). One of many highlights of the day was hearing 10 year old Colin Taylor knock out the Chuck Berry classic “Johnny B. Goode.”

Totally unrelated to weddings or photography, but I had to share. I played music with Matthew Sturm until he moved to NYC a few years ago. Along with Matt it is Thom Grant on guitar, Jamie Simon on drums and myself on bass. I didn’t realize this video existed until today — we all miss you in Indiana, Matt!
